Hi guys,
For a long time I've been thinking about moving to Scotland. Everything is a bit up in the air with the coronavirus obviously but I'm still thinking I'll go when all that settles down.
My question is, is Edinburgh or Glasgow the better city? The job I do is remote so I pretty much have freedom of choice when it comes to location. I want to be in one of the main cities so I've narrowed it down to those two.
Any advice?

Scotland is a great country with a lot to offer so I'm sure you'll enjoy living there. As for which city is better, that really depends on your lifestyle and priorities. In short, there's a lot to love about both cities.
Edinburgh is really rich with history and it shows in just about every facet of the city. Many of the flats and houses are decades or even centuries old, and the city's castle is an awe-inspiring landmark that forms an integral part of Edinburgh's distinct skyline.
On the other hand, Glasgow has a more modern, urban feel (although you'll still spot historical buildings dotted all over the city). Where Edinburgh has a tranquil sort of atmosphere, Glasgow is more lively.
