Hi Ashish

Where are you moving from? Koramangala is right next to the business park where you will be working and is a popular area with expats. Acropolis is a large residential complex in the heart of the area - you could try looking for a place there.

In terms of schools, are you looking for an international (British/American curriculum) or an Indian curriculum school? Greenwood High International School offers both British and Indian curriculum qualifications, is very close to your place of work and has a good reputation.

The best thing to do is to select a good school first, as near as possible to your place of work without compromising on quality, and then find accommodation that's near enough to both your workplace and the school. The traffic in Bangalore can be terrible in some areas.

Take a look at our Accommodation in Bangalore page for a list of popular expat areas in Bangalore. Our new International Schools in Bangalore page lists some good schools in the city.

Good luck with your move!

Any home situated in central bangalore would be good. EGL is only 6 kms from city center and the road from MG road to EGL is pretty good. You can find apartments in Richmond Town where there are good old convent schools. Check out properties in richmond town area especially in manish complex apartments on convent road

If you are looking for a nice gated community then Look at Adarsh Vista. Here is an ad on Craigs for a nice looking villa for rent http://bangalore.craigslist.co.in/apa/4467219047.html
