Background

Saigon South International School (SISS) is a top-tier multicultural American-curriculum school with more than 1,200 students and excellent facilities. The six-hectare campus comprises three buildings with large classrooms and specialised rooms for art, music, dance, aquatics and ICT. There are separate libraries for elementary, middle and high school students, separate play areas and a shared cafeteria and auditorium.

The school has good co-curricular visual art and music programmes. There is an extensive after-school activities programme, including everything from baking and newspaper to digital animation and martial arts. In addition, high school students are expected to donate 60 hours of their time to community projects.

Curriculum

The school follows an American curriculum. Senior students study towards the American High School Diploma and/or Advanced Placement Diploma or the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Diploma), which is internationally recognised.

Location

The school is situated along a tributary of the Saigon River, within easy walking distance of the shops, cafés and restaurants in the new urban centre of Saigon South. The school is 20 minutes from the city centre in a planned residential community.

Fees

For the 2022/2023 school year, annual fees range from VND 422 million for Early Childhood 3 and 4 to VND 752 million for Grades 11 and 12. Fees are payable annually or in four instalments.
