Background
Founded in 1985, Japanische Internationale Schule Frankfurt offers an excellent Japanese education. German is taught as a first additional language and English as a second additional language. Approximately 250 students attend the school. After-school activities include computer classes, sports and tea ceremony club.
The school is just a 20-minute train ride from the city centre of Frankfurt. The school grounds also host a Japanese weekend school as well as a Japanese kindergarten.
