What the school says
"NAISNY welcomes children aged two through to Year 9, offering both part-time and full-time programmes for its youngest learners. The school prides itself on its diverse community of international and local NYC families. With a British curriculum, NAISNY provides a balanced approach to academic and emotional growth, fostered through engaging events like workshops, mixers, and family-friendly activities such as teddy bear picnics.
"As our principal, Mr Frawley, expresses, ‘NAISNY is more than just a school – it’s a close-knit community where every child and family are valued.’
"As part of Nord Anglia Education, a network of over 80 international schools across 33 countries, NAISNY offers students unparalleled opportunities to connect with peers worldwide. This global platform fosters creativity, resilience, and a global perspective, preparing students to achieve beyond their expectations. Learning has no ceiling at NAISNY. We recognise that every child is unique and meet them where they are."
Curriculum
"NAISNY offers a dynamic curriculum designed to provide students with a comprehensive, world-class education. Our collaboration with Juilliard, MIT, and UNICEF enriches our programmes, offering students unparalleled experiences in the arts, innovation, and global citizenship.
"Through Juilliard, students explore music, dance, and drama, nurturing their creativity and performance skills. Our partnership with MIT brings cutting-edge projects, fostering problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, often linked with the benefit of working with local businesses such as Google and Duolingo. Providing real-world learning and community engagement.
"With UNICEF, students engage in global and local issues, developing empathy and leadership skills. Residential trips to upstate New York for Years 3 to 6 enhance learning with hands-on learning experiences, building a great team spirit, and boosting every child’s confidence.
"Upper school students can participate in the Global Sports Games, joining peers from 24 Nord Anglia schools, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship. Some choose the creative art trip, a week of inspiring creative collaborations."

From the principal
"At NAISNY, we invite children on a journey of critical thinking. We know that each child is unique, and we meet them where they are. Our British International curriculum offers an ideal balance of academic rigour and real-world challenges, ensuring your child’s emotional and academic development. Through innovative, hands-on, personalised projects, we cultivate independence, confidence, and a love of learning. With this foundation, your child will graduate fully prepared to succeed at top high schools in the US or internationally.
"Being based in New York, a vibrant and dynamic city, having a school that opens its doors five days a week to a safe and nurturing learning environment makes a big difference. We share the learning experiences with parents through several channels; we believe it is the collaboration between the school and parents that makes children thrive.
"The school’s central location in Gramercy Park, just walking distance from Madison Square Park, makes it easy to access with public transportation. The park provides a lovely place for families to connect after school.
"Our international parent community hosts many events, and our teachers and students welcome every new student to a stimulating and nurturing environment. We look forward to welcoming new families to the school, and we are always happy to invite you on a 1:1 family tour or meet you online to answer any questions you may have."
– Mr Jimmy Frawley, NAISNY Principal

“All the teachers are caring, knowledgeable, and passionate educators who provide individualised support and mentorship to each child. They go above and beyond to support the students academically and socially, encouraging the kids to grow into capable, confident people.”
“Hands on the best Early Years provision I have seen in all of NYC, and I have looked all over Manhattan and Brooklyn.”
“Great early years programme with strong teachers and a structured and resource-rich classroom environment.”
