What the school says

The students will develop a wealth of skills for use in their own lives and shape their values to assist them in making a difference in society. At the heart of the education provided will be a love of learning, which is supported by a healthy body and healthy mind. When students have completed their education at Hartland they will be happy and confident individuals, with a sound work ethic and a passion for excellence."

From the principal
"It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to Hartland International School. Together we are creating a community in which our children will experience the joy of learning and develop as unique and happy individuals.
At Hartland we will provide more than just an education. Our children will be inspired by new ideas, encouraged as they learn to think for themselves and then challenged to transform the lives of others. Hartland will be a place where every child will be understood and supported as they aim high and then exceed their expectations.
We want our children to be creative and resilient, become excellent decision makers, demonstrate compassion and tolerance, grow in courage and confidence, and make a difference in this changing world. Most importantly, we want our children to demonstrate the kindness and humility that will enable them to forge friendships that will last a lifetime; to laugh and have fun as they grow.
I understand the importance of knowing that our children will be safe and happy at school. At Hartland we will treat each child as an individual. Our highly qualified teachers and experienced tutors will get to know families exceptionally well, personalising the children’s learning and care to meet their needs and future academic aspirations. We will keep parents informed about their children’s successes and opportunities so that, together, we will make sure that their school days are challenging, fulfilling and enjoyable.
We want our children to grow into well-rounded, self-assured adults, capable of navigating complex social and cultural environments in a confident manner. As they will surely face challenges throughout their lives, we wish to enable them to learn how to persevere and make appropriate decisions in a range of situations, developing into life-long learners, who can lead and take responsibility for others within their community."
