Background

The French International School (FIS) of Hong Kong has a prestigious history spanning more than half a century. While the majority of the student body is French, there are students of more than 45 different nationalities attending the school.

FIS offers two streams. Students in the French stream are taught in French and study towards the Diplôme National du Brevet and the French Baccalauréat. Teaching in the International Stream is in English, but French is still emphasised. The international stream is based on the English National Curriculum, incorporating the Cambridge IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate.
