The hotter months also sometimes bring thunderstorms, hailstorms, cyclonic winds and drought, but generally, the warm, sunny weather is perfect for holidays and outdoor activities.
Winters, from June to August, are dry and mild with temperatures between 59°F (15°C) and 68°F (20°C). The rainy season runs from November to March.
