hi, i am a fresh graduate from college. my father is working in shanghai and he is processing my mother's dependent visa so she could stay there for long. i would like to work there, too. is it necessary for an expat to have a working experience before coming to china? i mean, are there gonna be some problem if i apply for working visa here in my country if i don't have working experience. my father said to me that he will help me find employment there and maybe he can recommend me to the company he's working in. is it illegal for relatives to work there in the same organization?

Hey all. I got a job in Qatar as a translator for 12K a month, a third (4K) of which is housing allowance. Salary is tax free, but is the amount good enough to live comfortably? After looking at the cost of living and other pages here, it seems inevitable that I have to hire a car, and that's at least another 2,500 QAR. Am I wrong to believe the pay is a bit on the lower side?

I have fallen in love with a Belgian and we are thinking about marrying next year. I need some advice. The man I am marrying is receiving incapacity benefit and we are unsure how getting married will affect his benefit. I am working in the UK but of course will not have a job when I move and will be looking for one. I am in the process of selling my house so will have some money to start me off. I am interested in retraining, I do have a degree but feel I want to make a fresh start with a new career. Where can I go to get information about the questions I am asking?

Hello friends. I am an American girl moving to Prague to teach English. I was wondering if there were any areas I should look into for finding an apartment. Hi, I am moving to NYC with my wife and new born baby from London early next year. Where is the best area to live? My wife doesn't drive and will be on maternity leave so transport links will be important. I will only be in the office 2/3 days a week and therefore would be happy to commute into town on the train for example to get a bit more family space. Thanks. Neil
