Is it possible to convert my US driver license to a UAE license? What forms do I need? Where can I do this?

Most of the info I've been reading advises that housing costs more in Abu dhabi, is this true? I have a job in AD, but I'd consider renting in Dubai if I could save a fair amount of cash. Is this worth it, or is the commute too hectic? Thanks.

Hi All, I'm from Malaysia (Asian Countries)and interested to pursue a job in Saudi Arabia. Working as Project Manager for Railway construction for 9 years and hold a bachelor degree of electrical. I'm married with 1 kid and also planning to bring them once settled down. Appreciate if anybody with similar experiences able to provide some guidelines of the comfortable salary plus other benefits which is common practice in Saudi. The Institute for Western Surgery is looking into providing an Urgent Orthopedics health care program in Guangzhou. We are trying to gauge the interest in the expat community. The program would basically be a Western style urgent care with orthopedic doctors and an English speaking nurse on call 24/7 to handle urgent medical needs like sports injuries that involve muscle, joint, and bone trauma.
