Hi, My husband and I are relocating to London for 2 years. We are looking to rent a flat after a month of moving there. In order to rent a flat, are we able to show bank statements to show proof of savings until we find employment? We have not yet secured employment however are able to show proof of savings.

If any one has moved to the UK and found jobs and places to rent this way appreciate any advice, suggestions etc.

Thanks

What are the best schooling options in Frankfurt?

Expert Info

Submitted by annacoops on

Hi,

I am moving from Australia to Frankfurt in the next couple of months with my family (husband and 3 kids) and we were after some guidance with schooling. The international schools are a bit out of our price range and were wondering what the other options were for a 3 and 5 year old. Are the public primary school zoned like they are in Australia? Also, how to the bilingual schools work? We are currently looking at the surrounding areas for living rather than in the CBD but any thoughts on that would be much appreciated also.

Hi everyone!

I have twins entering 8th grade in the USA.  We are starting to prepare for a potential move to Frankfurt.  Not this school year but starting school year 2019-2020.

1) What are your experiences with the 3 main IB International school options in Frankfurt?

 2) When should we start the admissions process?  How long is the waiting list for each school?  Should we be applying now for 2019-2020?

Any advice with this is helpful.

Thank you!

I am planning on moving to London next spring, 2019 from the USA (I have dual citizenship and a UK passport). I know Brexit officially takes effect in March of 2019. Will this affect my move at all? Will it be easier or harder to find a job (I'm hoping to find a job in London before I move there)? How will the affect the economy, or is it too early to tell?

Thank you.

Hi everyone

I am finishing studies in France in a year. I will have a double degree from elite universities in France and UK in Politics, Economics and Management. I have had work experience in forms of internships in finance/banking sector.

I would very much like to move to Warsaw but I am worried that salaries are low compared to other cities in Europe. I was wondering what field/company you would advise me to try finding a job at to have the highest salary possible? I was thinking probably in consultancy/investment banking?

Hello guys,

Thanks in advance to those nice enough to take the time to help me!

I am finding it tricky to obtain clear and consistent info/resources online regarding the best routes for my boyfriend and I to live together permanently in Canada, whether by application for a permanent visa, citizenship (or equivalent) or another route altogether.

I thought perhaps some of you might have a better idea of the best routes available to us, based on our situation.
