Schools and living in Antwerp

Expert Info

Submitted by nursen on
Destination: Antwerp

Hello,

My husband will start to work at Antwerp by 1st January .
We have 2 daughters ; 7 and 12 years old.
Now, we have to make 2 critical decisions ; which region to live and which schools to choose for our daughters?
We think living at a walking distance to school would help our daughthers for faster adaptation.
Will appreciate if you share your opinion/experience with us.

Hi,

Can anyone please help me work out how much I take home after tax for gross salary of 121,970 Thai Baht? I have 3 dependants: spouse and 2 kids (3 year old and 4 months). I was informed that tax would be 15-20%, but they can't give me the correct figure.

Also, how much is average rent for a fully furnished 2 bedrooms house/ apartment?

I have got an offer of 5000pln Gross (3500 net or take home) job offer and would like me in if I accept it for 3 month probation contract. I'm currently from India. The catch is for rent accommodation, the company wont do and there'll be no flight reimbursement. Best areas to live in Kuala Lumpur?

Expert Info

Submitted by tompitman on
Destination: Malaysia
Hello - I have a job offer by my existing company and am seriously considering a move to Kular Lumpar in January. Can you advise if KL is a good place to live with a young family (wife plus two small children)? What are the best areas in the city to live with good access to schools? My work would be in Bukit Bintang and we'd like to live in a suburb, ideally in a detached house if possible rather than an apartment. Also, should we be thinking about enrolling children into an international school in advance.

Legalities of part time work while on a Z visa in China

Expert Info

Submitted by Hey9999 on
Destination: China

Hello, I work in Beijing. I teach at a public school which sponsored my visa.

My question is: Is it necessarily illegal for me to work part-time for a different employer? My contract stipulates that I can only work for another employer if the school gives me permission. Do they have that discretion? If so, do they need to take any specific action?

Thanks!
