It is easy to meet people and make friends in Stockholm. I've heard the Swedes can be quite private and unfriendly. What's the social scene in Stockholm like? Are there any good clubs and bars in the city? I'm moving to Sweden in a few months and just trying to plan ahead, especially as I'll be moving there on my own and want to get out and about.

I have applied for a position in Guargaon and would like to know how to commute. I would not like to drive by myself (at least till I get used to the traffic and driving on the left side). 1) Can I hire a driver with a car? Or do I have to provide a car? How much would that cost? 2) What is a great (clean & safe) neighborhood close to Gurgaon? I appreciate any information! Please respond to: landarch.peter@gmail.com Thanks! Peter

Hi - I am being transferred internally to Tokyo but have an unmarried partner who I obviously want to come with me. Does anyone have any experience of the best way to get her a visa to stay in Japan with me while I am here? Is it possible that I can sponsor / guarantee or stay or get my company to apply to the Immigration Bureau for a dependent's visa if we can prove we have been living together for 8 years? Thanks!

Mission trip to Ibidan

Expert Info

Destination: Nigeria
My family is looking into possibly spending a few months in Ibidan, about 80 miles from Lagos, on a mission trip. We have 4 children, ages 2-16 and will be assisting at a Christian based church/school. We are both well travelled and lived abraod before, so a basic, condervative lifestyle would suit us. We have some queries though: 1) What kind of monthly expenses should we budget for with regards rent in Ibidan? 2) How is the sanitation? 3) Is it difficult to obtain visas? 4) What kind of food costs should we expect (compared to US prices)? 5) Is the area safe?
