Hi there, I live in Munich, Germany and run my own business (nature based holiday camps for children) and am a yoga teacher. I have a 3 year self-employed work visa for Germany. I want to move to Vienna, but will keep working in Germany. I would also like to work in Vienna as a yoga teacher and bring my business to Vienna as well. Is it possible to do this? Work in Munich and live in Vienna, legally?

Good safe areas in Johannesburg?

I'd like to move to Johannesburg for a few months to a year to work on a novel. My question is, what sort of permits or visas do I need, given that I won't be working? Also, can anyone recommend good suburbs to buy/rent a house in? I just want a nice suburb that isn't too expensive and/or full of expats but won't get me killed.

Are there any good and reasonably priced schools in New Delhi?

Expert Info

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on
Destination: Delhi
We might move from London to New Delhi in September. We have 2 kids aged 9 and 6. I have been searching in the British School of Delhi and apart from the price it seems quite difficult to get a place there. I wonder if somebody have information of other International schools or private Indian schools and if you think it will be difficult, so far, to find a place. Thank you very much Carmen

I have read many posts regarding rent and also cost for house keeper, food, utilities etc and can anyone give me an idea how much the cost of living would be for one month for a single person living sensibly ? would a hotel be a cheaper option ?

GEMS Westminster School and Winchester School Dubai?

Expert Info

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on
Destination: Dubai

I'm moving to Dubai next year and there seems to be a lot of debate about which schools are worth it - some sound great but then they get terrible reviews. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the Westminster School and the Winchester School - both GEMS group schools - as there seems to be virtually nothing written on other forums about them, which is unusual for Dubai expats! Is this a good sign or a bad sign? Any insights welcome. Thanks!

Pet cats in Johannesburg

Expert Info

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on
Destination: Johannesburg
We are looking to relocate to Johannesburg but have some questions about the practicalities of taking our 2 pet cats with us. We have been on a go see and know that you can rent properties that allow the cats but are concerned on a couple of fronts. Our cats prefer to come and go, catflap or window/door but this raises some security questions. At the least they will need letting in and out in a supervised way. We are also concerned as most properties/developments have walls and (electric) fences so how will this work for the cats.

My husband and I are going to be moving to Mumbai in June as he has been offered a promotion to move there. We're still unsure of whether our kids should come with us or if they should stay here in England and go to bording school. Are there any decent international schools in Mumbai, or are public schools in India also worth while investigating?

Real Estate Prices in Switzerland?!

Expert Info

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on
Destination: Switzerland
Property prices in Switzerland are varied – ranging from CHF 100,000 for a bachelor flat, to CHF 400,000 for a three-room apartment, and well over a million for a stand-alone family house. Price is affected by area, and good deals may be sought. The above from the page on Switzerland... though does not specify the city ... I can tell you that it certainly does not apply to Geneva!! Perhaps these prices would have applied some 10 years ago?!! How often are these pages updated is my question???? p.s.

Destination: Greece
I understand that all income is subject to taxation in Greece, but is disability for disabled military veterans considered income for this purpose? My husband and I are both disabled Army veterans and are looking to relocate to Greece to live out our remaining days. We are in our late 30s and have no immediate interest in seeking employment. Any tips? Thank you.
