Submitted by joeg007 on
Destination: Rome
I am a retired American looking to live in Italy for up to a year. I've already figured out the "visa" requirements and have been searching the areas of Ostia and Fiumicino (both west of Rome along the coast)for an apartment (via Sublet.com). I don't want to re-invent the wheel so any information from those who have gone before me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you ....... Joe

My elder brother and I are relocating from foreign country to India (Bangalore) soon. I want to get my nephew admitted to a good school in Bangalore. I would like to know what are some good international schools in Bangalore. Through online research I have come across a school called Greenwood High International School. I have gone through its website ( http://www.greenwoodhigh.edu.in/ ) and got the information that the school has large library, modern laboratories, nice sports facilities, cafeteria, etc. Greenwood High claims itself as the best IB school in Bangalore.

I am a 57 year old American. Born in NY but currently living in Florida. I have decided to relocate and looking to move to an English speaking country. I no longer work but gave a guaranteed income of close to $4000.00 a month that adjusts with the rate of inflation in the USA. I am active but disabled. Enjoy the outdoors and also having a city with in an hour or two by car. Will have at least $125000.00 USD in cash when I relocate. Anyone have a favorite location they would like to suggest. I expect to spend between $150000 and $250000 USD on my home.

Where to live in the UK?

Expert Info

Submitted by Esraesra on
Destination: The United Kingdom

Dear All, I might be moving to UK soon and have no idea where would be the best location to stay at. I'll be working near Gatwick Airport and my husband will be working near Braknell station. I've been looking for places in Battersea because that's where Clapham junction station is (which as per google is midway between both our jobs). Need your advice if that would in fact be the best place to stay (given that we'll be depending mostly on public transportation). Thanks
