Would I be able to live with 4000 rmb a month in Shanghai?

Expert Info

Hi, I was applying for some internship in Shanghai and the company told me that they offer 4000 rmb a month after tax, that amount will last for 6 months and after that if they pick me they will increase the sallary. But, I don't now if that is enough to live. I am sure that won't be enough for a high standard, but for a humble standard, is that enough?

We are looking to marry next year but also she needs to work for personal re-seasons. I am self employed and have a resonable income with my own house. What type of visa should she apply for.

In a few years time I'm looking to move to Sarawak with my wife who comes from that part of Malaysia.
I have read that they require you to have an income of 10000rm per month if you are over 50, ill be 57-58 by the time we move, as my wife is Malaysian do I still need to have this income as my Forces pension will not be that amount.
We are also planning on building a house on her family land, are there any pit falls I should look out for.

Destination: Valencia

Hi,
My husband and I are planning a move to Valencia mid-2017. We know the city well, I have a good grasp of Spanish while my husband is learning. I will be looking for work in my field, Credit / Accounts Receivable, but we are wondering what the best path would be for my husband while he is still learning.
He is super practical and would ideally work outdoors.

Where can my child go to school in Sweden?

I am planning on moving to the Stockholm area to pursue a PhD. I have an 8 year old child, and I would like to know where she would be eligible to go to school? I read somewhere that many expats send their kids to private school. Is this because they teach public school in Swedish? Is private school excessively expensive? What are my options?

Hi all- we are relocating to Bangalore from Hong Kong and would like to look into bringing our Filipino domestic helper with us, as we consider her to be part of the family. She has been with us for 2 years. Has anybody done this or know where I would start trying to find out about if this is possible? Another question which I'd love to find out about, is there even a Filipino community in Bangalore? She's expressed being worried about this... Thank you for any help!

I am living in Nanshan, West of SZ. Very close to SZ Bay. I searched on maps and found decathlon that does cheap deals for bikes but are they any good? I may be able to source second hand bikes from someone but thought I would check here first :) I don't think I will cycle on the roads as the drivers here seem too confident in their driving skills.

What's the atmosphere like towards minority groups in America right now? Are there going to be changes in American laws that will make things more difficult for us? Please help with info!

Please help with any info!

Hi there, I am moving to the UK from Ireland in June 2017, my son is currently in 3rd year of secondary school here in Ireland. He will take his Junior Certificate examinations in June 2017 (hence why I am waiting until then). He is 15 now, he turns 16 in Sepember 2017. We both want him to continue his education to A Levels, he wants to attend Uni, he is still a bit unsure re what carer path he wants to choose. I have done a lot of research and have a relatively good understanding of the UK Education system.
