Hello everybody, I am English, from Cambridge, and my husband and I have planned to move to Italy. We already have some contacts with a real estate agency since we would like to buy a house in the south. My question is: I was told that I need an interpreter during the Deed of Sale, can I use one appointed by the vendor and/or the real estate agent?

Hello there! I'm EU citizen, lived many years in UK and now legal resident in Portugal as a housewife :) I am not retired, not employed, not registered as Jobseeker. Destination: Austria

In the next year or two my husband and myself intend to move from the UK to Austria and hopefully buy and run a small guesthouse or apartment house in Carinthia or Styria. So far we have found information about the GKK health insurance which relates to those working for an employer but we are finding it difficult to obtain information for the self-employed. Any info about how we would apply and any estimates about how much it would cost us would be gratefully received.

Dear members, I am making some inquiries regarding moving to Oman. I have been approached about working there but I wanted to get an idea of what package to be expecting and an idea of expenses in Oman. I have 3 children, aged 14, 10 and 5 and I would assume that schooling would be a considerable expense. Also what is the cost of accommodation? Are there compounds with villas and do these come with facilities? What would be considered to be a good all in package? 5,000 Omani Riyal? Thanks for your help in advance. I look forward to feedback. Thanks

Hello My husband and I with out three year old daughter ( and posisbly our dogs) are moving to Sydney for a minimum of two years due to work. We will be working in the CBD weekdays from 8am to 7pm each day. We are looking to rent with a weekly budget of max $1200 per week. Ideally we want a conveninet commute via public transport that is under 40-45 minutes max. Very important to us also is a nice family friendly safe area that is if at all possible close to a beach, cafes, shops, parks , great schools ( am I being a bit unrealistic, does this even exist)!
