“It has been a tough journey since March 2020 for students across the globe. Spending the final year of school at home, rising uncertainty about final examinations, college application and moreover missing out on all the fun and leadership opportunities at school! Nevertheless, our students have done us proud.”
– Manjula Shenoi, Principal Senior School, Pathways World School in New Delhi, India
About Pathways
Consistently recognised as a top-ranking international day-cum-residential school, Pathways World School was the first of its kind to introduce the International Baccalaureate (IB) in North India. The curriculum includes the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP) of the International Baccalaureate Organisation of Geneva.
International Baccalaureate 2021 results at Pathways
In 2021, two students from Pathways World School achieved the highest possible IB Diploma score of 45 points. Less than one percent of all IB DP students worldwide achieve this score. Despite the exceptional circumstances this year, these Pathways students have managed to stand among world's highest achievers in these exams.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is widely regarded as one of the best-balanced and most challenging pre-university programmes in the world. The IBDP aims to develop students who have excellent depth and breadth of knowledge and who flourish not just intellectually but also emotionally, physically and ethically.
Career and college preparation
The Career and College Advisory Department at Pathways continued to flourish even through lockdown. Regular virtual interaction and workshops motivated students to seek opportunities and understand the value of the learning process, whether independent or collaborative. They were encouraged to utilise unique opportunities through the virtual platform, transforming their classroom from the school to the world.
Pathways World School placed the class of 2021 in some of the top universities globally like the University of Cambridge, Kings College London, University of Warwick, London School of Economics, John Hopkins University, New York University, University of California and the National University of Singapore to name a few. The class of 2021 also secured a combined value of USD 20,95,850 in scholarships from various universities.
Pathways accreditation
Pathways Schools are the only school chain in India to be accredited jointly by NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges) and CIS (Council of International Schools), demonstrating its commitment to international education and continual improvement.
