We are moving to France later this year and would like to take our do with us. What is the proceedure for moving a dog to France, can we just take her on the Eurostar? Note that we may also want to take her back to England next year without having to do quarentine - I believe we can get a pet passport. Any advice?

As an expat is it possible to be approved for a credit card in Israel? Up until this point I've been using my US credit card and then paying off the debt with a US checking account; but as you can prob imagine, this proves rather difficult from abroad - especially when you're earning Israeli Shekel...

Hi-
I'm thinking of making Aaliyah, and settling in Tel Aviv for at least the next few chapters of my life. As a recently graduated university student I don't have access to a huge cashflow and I'm wondering what the cost of living in Tel Aviv will be. Is it possible to immigrate, find a flat and a job and start making a decent salary in three months time?

What type of housing is available in Japan and what strange little ideosyncracies should I know about. I'll be househunting two months from now in Tokyo, and before I go on the prowl I'd like to be as prepared as possible. Also, what would be a reasonable cost for decent accommodation in Japan?

My husband and I are moving with our little girl (age 8) to Amsterdam this September. My husband's employer has offered to fly us over so we can acquaint ourselves with the city and start to look for housing. Can anyone indicate which neighborhoods of Amsterdam are the best for families looking for a easy-going lifestyle outside the helter-skelter of the city? Green space is a big plus, as is pedestrian-friendly streets and public space.

Hi-

I'm moving with husband to Kuala Lumpur in the upcoming months and I've just found out I'm pregnant :) Just wondering if there's any fellow expat women who have given birth in Malaysia and who can direct me to a good hospital, a good OBGYN, and strong support networks. Thanks!
