Hey everybody, I'll be moving to Lagos, Nigeria next week for a 6-month assignment. Though I was there a couple weeks ago on a preliminary trip, I had trouble finding housing in the range of what the small startup business I work for can afford. More specifically, my price range is 400-450k naira TOTAL (about $2500-$3000), again, for six months. I've been looking at websites and in person with a few property agents in search of fairly nice (Western standards-ish) and safe apartments or guesthouses to this end in Lekki, VI, Ikoyi, Island, VGC, Yaba, Surulere, and even other areas.

Expat Arrivals is compiling a guide to international schools in Ho Chi Minh City. Does anybody have any experiences of British, American and international schools in Ho Chi Minh City to share with other expat parents? Any insights welcome!

Hi expat parents

Does anybody have any advice for parents looking for schools in Ho Chi Minh City for expats? Which schools are the best? Which schools are the worst in Saigon? Does anyone have experience of the local schools in Ho Chi Minh City? Any insights and comments welcome.

My husband is starting a new job in Brussels next year and we are going to be relocating there with our three kids - 11, 5 and 2 - and I still need to find a school for there, Can anyone recommend a good international school in Brussels? We're British so I'd ideally like to stick to a school with that follows the British curriculum. thanks!

We made a permanent move to Le Meux in France 2 weeks ago and are struggling to work out how to get any UK tv. We brought our sky box and card (not the satellite dish). There is an existing dish on the house in France but we cannot drill anywhere as we are renting. Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks.

we are looking at relocating in june 2013, and ,my daughter will be starting her A levels, does singapore follow the same eductaion sysytem as the UK? would A levels in singapore be regarded the same as the UK should she want to go to UNI in the UK in 3 years?

Hi, I am a (french) trainee in Alliance française, Lodhi Estate, Delhi, from March 17th till December 22. My wife will come for my birthday (62 the 10th). I am already in a flat in Jangpura Extension. But I share with two other trainees and we wants to be alone when She will be there. We are looking for a furnished flat between the 2nd and the 17th in November. The best would be Jangpura, Lajpat, around Mehar Chand... But if we find not to far from a metro station it will be fine. I have been in Riyadh for 2 days now and am staying in a furnished apartment paid for by the company. I have been told that the best and quickest way to get into a compound is by word of mouth. Can somebody please help? Does anyone know of any expats compounds which have housing available for family of 4? I have my wife plus 2 young girls (aged 3 years and 7 months)

A person with Hepatitis C can be granted residence in hte UAE, or whether they will be deported if they have Hepatitis C. I am karachi, pakistan, willing to come UAE on visit visa, search job and living in uae but have a hepatitis c positive. they grant me residence visa or deported from UAE. my field of administration or finance. thanks in advance for your reply. regards

I have some expensive dental work that needs done and I am looking for a good faciltity in Norway for it. Just looking for any recommendations from folks in Oslo, experiences good and bad, etc.

I 'm thinking about living in Oslo for a while. How much would a very small bachelor flat in Oslo cost per month, or even a room in a house share - I'm not fussy. Also, what's the minimum I would need to survive in Oslo if I didn't go out much and was careful with money?

I have been offered a job by a Lagos based company as a sales engineer. My experience is 3 years. They offer me $1400. The company guarantees me a 3 bedroom flat, car, driver, telephone other than the salary. Is this a good offer? Please guide me.
