Hi, Ive been offered a job and am moving to work in Tai wai i have been told that if i want a house and garden i should live in Tai Po, which is comutable. Just wondered how easy it is to communicate and to get around, having never been before. I'm curious about the health care system and social netwroks i.e is it easy to go to the cinema? Any information and help you could give would be great, im very excited about the move but nervous :-) Thanks Shoned

HI We have an opportunity to relocate to Singapore with our 3 children in January. My question is really whether we will be able to get primary school places for them at an international school without debentures? We are lucky enough that we will be able to pay tuition - our concern is actually getting them places at a school? They are very happy and doing well at school at the moment and this will be a huge deciding factor for us - but we would really love to move ! Can anyone help me with this?! Thank you !

Hi, my husband has been offered a job over in Hong Kong for 45000 HKD per month for the 1st 6 months with a 10000HKD living allowance & than will receive a guaranteed payrise. Just wondering if this will get 2 children (4yr old & 1yr old), my husband & I by with the cost of living? We've been looking at Discovery Bay as he will be working at the airport, preferably a 3 bedroom place (at least) that is safe for children.

Hi Everyone, Need some help or advice for the situation below: We were looking for a whole unit since our current rental is about to expire hence we were contacting several agents to help us. Yesterday we saw 3 units and out of that, we are ok with the 2. In the first one even if the unit is out of our budget, the agent keeps on persuading us to try to negotiate and he will help if he can get approval of owner. Note that the owner is overseas so there is the landlord agent as another representative. Even if it is out of the budget, and after all the persuasions we gave in.

Were moving from Australia to Abu Dhaba in January and I'm really seeking advice on good schooling for our 8 and 6 year old children. Ideally we would like to send them to the Australian School but I haven't seen any good reviews on it as yet. Can anyone tell me where alot of the Australia children go? Also a little confused by the American grade and British grade system. My son would be in Year 3 in our school year of 2013 and our daughter would be in Year 1 (this year has been her first year at school). I look forward to any advice at all. :)
