My office (a financial service) will be in Crown Road, Fordsburg, Johannesburg. Can you please suggest an area where I can live? how much will be the rent? and what will be the living cost for me, my wife and my newborn boy? I will receive R 12000/ month as foreign allowance and my salary (approx. ZAR 30000/month) will be received in my home country. I don't wanna bring any money from my salary back home, rather want to use the foreign allowance to live in JHB so that I can amass a good amount from my salary which I will receive in my country. Is it possible to obtain Omani employment visa if you have lost your Engineering Certificates? It is followed up with the University for the re issue of certificates and the University has informed that the Certificate will be reissued in 3 Months time. In the mean time they have provided with the Provisional certificate which they said can be apostilled and can be used for the application of Omani Employment visa. I need an experts advice on this issue.

Hi all, I am new to this forum and this is all just a pipe dream at the moment. We are thinking of following my partners family out to abu dhabi in the next 18months/2years and wanted some help. Do we have to be married to get a visa for the family or will it be consider ok if we are engaged? Also, do they do financial back ground checks before moving out? Will bad credit effect us at all? Thanks in advance.

I left saudi on Jan 2011 with exit-reentry. I don't have NOC and final exit. Jun 2011 and March 2012 I tried to enter with new job offer, both times my visa was rejected.

Now i have another good offer. But can anyone advise me on whether the visa will b granted or not. If I get, do I then face any problems physically entering the country and daeling with Saudi immigration at the border.

Please let me know your thoughts on this situation.

Hey,

My husband and I are moving to San Jose with our 2 kids as he has been offered a new job in Silicon Valley. We need to find a decent property to rent and was wondering if any expats already in the area have any advice on how to find good offers? What sort of rentals should we expect to pay? Are bills usually included in the rent?

Thanks,

Sally

Hello

I am new in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with my family. I am a bit concerned that it is not the most exciting destination for the kids. Can any expats living in Jeddah provide me with info on what activities are available for my family? Are there any nice festivals that are suitable for children?

Thanks

If your future employer in Saudi Arabia offers you a family visa with a salary of 12300 SAR including food, accommodation and transport, is that a fair salary for an engineer? Is it enough to survive with? This Taiwanese Company employer is not ready to offer more than this, so any suggestion would be welcom. Thanks in Advance. Regards, Manish

I saw all these crazy ads on the internet luring people to come make a small fortune teaching in China so curiosity got the best of me. I started digging online, and I have to wonder how the amounts I found on some sites could be so different than all the ads I have been seeing, talking about "great-paying teaching jobs in China".I starting digging even more and then found this report from the Huffington Post (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/10/03/average-teacher-salary-around-world_n_4037534.html).

Can anyone help with more information about the B-1 visa for Israel?

Expert Info

Hi I was on a B1 spousal visa for Israel not a work visa but I got a job in Dec. Now I am in a complex situation - The Israeli government want my company to pay employment tax, which is 20% on top of my gross salary. As far as I know, most people moving to Israel already have a job, but people like me on spousal visa need to find themselves a job.

What kind of company wants to hire or even give an interview to someone who they need to pay 20% tax for ? Why are there such different processes for the two B1 visas?
