I am planning to be relocated to Frankfurt, Germany from this summer with my wife. I am in the process of opening up my company in Frankfurt and want to start doing business. I would be glad if there could be some suggestions on
1. The cost of Health Insurance per private person
2. Income tax for individuals (expats)
Many thanks in advance !

Hi Jayanta

Have a look at our Cost of Living in Frankfurt page, which gives some details on health insurance. As far as tax goes, PKF does a good (free) tax by country guide and I know they have a guide for Germany.

Also, have a look at our Doing Business in Germany page, which gives some additional advice on starting a business in the country.

Good luck!

Hi Xavier, Many thanks for your response - the info is certainly helpful about the cost of livelihood in Frankfurt. However I still look for how much payment for a month is needed for business owners as well as for the employees. Any help from anybody in this regard will be appreciated. Best wishes, Jayanta
