We are moving to Seville this summer and are looking for a primary school for our children. They will be 9 and 10 years old and would be in grades 3 and 5 in a US elementary school. They know a little Spanish but not much. We are looking for a school where they can learn/speak some Spanish, but where there is also English. I presume that is a bilingual school? Is there a list of private primary schools in Seville I can contact, and are they likely to admit two American kids? Thanks.

Hi Alison,
Most of the public, semi-private and private schools in Seville teach primarily in Spanish. It might be best to specifically look for a bilingual school in Seville for your children, otherwise international schools are another option. Many expats choose international schools for their children's education if they are only planning on staying for a short duration. Schools vary greatly in price and curriculums used, these are other considerations you may need to factor into the choice of schooling.
As demand for private education is high, it is advised to contact schools well in advance in order to secure placement for your children. How long are you planning to stay in Spain?
Our guide for expats moving to Spain may be able to answer any more questions you have.
Hope this helps!
