Electrical Trade Wholesalers in Taiwan?

Expert Info

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on
Destination: Taiwan
Can you help me? I am desperately trying to find some specific information. I have contacted the local Taiwan Economic Trade office who are of no use. They ignore my request details and instead, fob me off with lists of exporters/manufacturers which are of no use. I specifically would like a few contact details (eg website addresses)for electrical trade wholesalers who supply goods such as electrical trade tools, switchgear and electrical consumables, etc. I would prefer to deal with the larger chain-stores and the ability to speak in English would also be a great help.

Selling my artwork in Italy?

Expert Info

Submitted by Laurie Fox on
Destination: Italy
What sort of business license do I need to sell my artwork in Italy? I will sell between 2,000 to 10,000 Euros of my own paintings a year. I would like to rent a "pop-up" gallery. I formerly lived in Paris, France (20 years) and had an auto-entrepreneur status, where I just paid 20% of everything I took in to the government. I currently have a "residenza elettiva" status for 2 years. I am 65 years old and collect social security from the USA. I sell paintings in the USA, as well.

What kind of school is best in Montreal for our three young Australian children?

Expert Info

Submitted by hannahs on
Destination: Montreal
We are an Australian family planning to live in Montreal for 6-12 months in a couple of years time. Our children will be almost 6, just 8 and 10.5. Presently they can speak no French ( but maybe we could work on that here). I see that the international schools are expensive and we may only stay for 6 months so they might not even accept our children. Would they get accepted into a public school and how hard do you think it would be for them being at a french speaking public school?

Hello! My family is moving to KL in June 2017 and my kids have been studying in the American System for 3 years so we are considering again the American System. Which International Schools with IB and American Curriculum for elementary and middle school are good in KL? I have been checking the websites and it appears that you need to have a monthly budget per kid of more than US$2,000.00. Am I doing the conversion wrong? Thank you in advance for your responses.

Best International Schools with English as the Language of instruction in Madrid?

Expert Info

Submitted by gingerly na on
Destination: Madrid
I hope we can all help those parents moving to Madrid. My son has studied in two of them: Numont School, a British Primary School located in the city center. Probably one of the best to study Primary. Really small but familiar and with a high level. Scandinavian School of Madrid, this school has both, a Swedish Section and an International Section, this one uses English as the language of instruction and follows the Cambridge Primary and Secondary Curriculum (with IGSCE & A Levels). They are located in "La Moraleja".

Expert Info

Submitted by Nadif on
Destination: Melbourne
HEllo Me, my husband and our two boys are planning to move to Melbourne from UK as my husband has gotten a job over there. I am really excited as I have heard a lot about Australian lifestyle. Everything seems fine except one thing. I have a huge reptile phobia. Cant look at lizards. I ahve heard that Australia is full of them. I get it that its a huge part of nature but if someone could tell me how bad is it. I mean are they inside the house? can you go for a walk without encountering them? is it possible to avoid them if you live within the city?

Retirement in Turkey?

Expert Info

Submitted by AnnMah on
Destination: Turkey
I am interesting in relocating to Turkey for my retirement years. I am looking at what I can do for work, contributing to an area. I am not sure what location of Turkey I am interested in, I guess it will depend on feedback from Expats. I am interested in hearing from anyone who has started up a business? What are the challenges faced when they arrived. What is the recommended yearly income. How safe is foreign ownership on real estate, is it worth investing in buying property there? Thank you Kind regards, Annie
