Hi, I have a HR interview next week in Warsaw, poland for an IT opening. I am not sure about the questions asked in HR interview. This is the first level of interview for me. I am basically from india. I am married and have a kid. I would like to know about basic lifestyle in poland for a family and the required earnings per month. I am a vegetarian. How many levels of interview will be there in general for IT openings. What about poland visa and how many months it takes usually. Please help me on this. Regards Karthik

Hi Karthikeyan,

The visa process in Poland is said to take between 6-8 weeks, but this is just an estimate...some applications take longer. The employer carries much of the burden of applying for the permit for you. You can find out more on the Work Permits for Poland page.

As for the interview process, it is very difficult to predict what they will ask you. Obviously, each company has its own hiring procedure but it will be beneficial for you to brush up on Polish business culture and etiquette. Read the Doing Business in Poland page for some tips.
