Hi,
There is accommodation available in Nairobi ranging from 35k for a room to 150k for fully furnished bills inclusive. it will depend on area, location etc. Schools can be private or public. International schools or those offering international curricula are more expensive. There are however private schools that are not too expensive offering both GCSE and KCSE. Again it will depend on location and how much you are willing to spend. Check out these websites, they might be useful in your search.
College, Peponi etc...

Hallo,
The best place to live as an expat is Lavington area if you have a children going to school. Because most of international schools are on the area example Braeburn school, braeside School, Rusinga school, Makini school, st. austin from these school you dont need to travel far from your home. Because in the morning there is much traffic jam problems. Incase you want a safe accomondation apartment we have a 3 bedroom apartment available from 18/1/2013 In Lavington . Safe place 24 hrs security, full equiped apartment near Valley Arcade Shopping Centre and also other big shopping malls on surrounding. Visit our website: http://livinginkenya.nl

There are several key areas that ex-pats generally congregate in depending on where they work since proximity to one's job is paramount in Nairobi considering the horrendous traffic. That being said, I've had a number of colleagues and friends mention this website http://www.moving2nairobi.com, and say great things. Apparently its this former real estate attorney from the states who is in Nairobi now and offers reasonable, set-price packages of services to expats to assist them in finding places to live, getting set-up, etc. I've only heard glowing reports so it may be worth checking it out.

Hi Anne. Search for OL ARABEL on Facebook for a 2-bedroom furnished cottage, or a 4-bedroom house on manicured grounds. They are within the vicinity of good international schools like Braeburn, International School of Kenya, and Rosslyn Academy. Karago Mbiru
