My fiancé and I are moving to Nairobi in a month. He will have a car for work and we are buying a four wheel drive for myself. I am not a confident driver- is it best to hire a driver? Are they expensive? Does anyone have any good recommendations of how to find a trustworthy driver?
Thank you!

Thanks to cheap labor in kenya! Please hire a driver $15.00/day until you get used to the roads. Taxi is another option.

I would also recommend getting a driver because traffic in Nairobi can require more than a little confidence. Coincidentally, my wife and I are leaving Nairobi after living here for three years and I am trying to find onward positions for some household staff, including a good and trustworthy driver. Feel free to contact me at [email protected], if you would like a recommendation.
