Is this a good salary to survive in Abu Dhabi?

Hello, I have an offer from abu dhabi and been offered 18000 DHS along with car ( inclusive fuel and maintenance) , family health insurance and return ticket to home with 30 paid leaves. Is it a good salary to survive there and save some money?

I'd suggest you take a look at our page on cost of living in Abu Dhabi for a breakdown of what you can expect to pay for all your basic goods and services in Abu Dhabi.

Accommodation is likely to be your biggest expense. And if you've got children coming with you then you'll need to factor in their education as they won't be able to attend a local school, they'll most likely need a place at an international school which is extremely expensive.

Thanks Catherine. I am married and not have children yet. So would be moving with wife only. I live very normal lifestyle. So the above mentioned salary and perks are good enough? Thanks, Subhash
