Contemplating moving to Brazil under the auspices of an intra-company transfer and wondering about the standard of international schools in Sao Paulo? My kids are elementary (primary) and middle school age. Can anyone recommend some good ones. Extra-curriculars are not a huge priority, we're more focused on academics. Thanks.

Graded and St. Paul's are two of the top non-religious international schools in Sao Paulo. Both have fantastic reputations and follow an International Baccalaureate curriculum. The main difference is that Graded is an American School and St. Paul's a British one. Depending on where you're coming from, you may choose one or the other.

That said, you may not even have a choice to  make, as opening can be scarce and waiting lists long. It's best to go ahead and start the admissions process, and see what kind of space is available.
