Can anybody help me in getting information on english speaking schools in Brussels? My son is 7 years old. I would like to know about the english speaking schools. Their academic year & the fee structure.

Hi Akshay

Have a look at the Expat Arrivals International Schools in Brussels page for an extensive list of schools there. The American, British and some International Baccalaureate curriculum schools will all be taught in English.

For more general information, also be sure to see Education and Schools in Belgium.

The academic year will vary, although as international schools most will probably start the school year in September. School fees at private international schools are usually expensive, but again, it will depend on the school. Most of them will post their fees on their web sites, however.

Hello, I am reloacating to Brussels with my 2 young kids (2+5years old) and want to enroll them in a french public school. Can someone recommend any?(with a garderie up to 18h30) and what are the enrollment procedures please.

Many francophone schools have garderies up to 18.30 in Brussels region, 18.00 is the exception. Enrolments are by individual schools only, with the exception of a minority of Bruxelles Ville communal schools for the 2 year old only which had enrolments a month ago by phone at a central number.
