Hi I'm coming to Krakow for my Project work and having hard time finding accomdatiion.Could someone please suggest some portals in english and let me know how approxmately how much expenses will be incurred?? Also let me know whether Work permit can be renewed. Hoping for a response. Regards Harish

Hi Harish,

There are some online portals like krakowflats.com that may be able to assist you with finding an apartment in the city.

You can probably find a room within a share house for around PZL 800 per month but if you want your own place you should expect to pay at least PZL 1500 per month.

The process for obtaining a work permit in Poland will differ according to your nationality. EU citizens do not need a work permit, non-EU citizens do. The application for permission to work in Poland must be made by the employer. The burden will lie with the employer rather than the expat.
