Hello...we are from USA moving to Dubai or Abu dhabi in 2-3 months. I got a decent offer from a company and want to know if we (me, wife + one kid) can live a decent life in Dubai or Abu dhabi with a pay package of 23000 AED per month. The company will bear accomodation cost and school fees every year, furniture cost(one-time payment). How much is the cost of living there like grocery/internet/utilities/cell phone bills? how are the laws/rules & regulations? and mainly how are the schools. My son is a US citizen so we would prefer to put him in US curriculum, so how are the international schools there? Do Dubai has good US curriculum schools or Abu dhabi?

The Cost of Living in Dubai and The Cost of Living in Abu Dhabi pages will give you a good idea on the prices of everyday goods in the UAE. I think your salary will allow you and your family to live comfortably in the UAE.
As for international schools, there are plenty to choose from in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Both emirates have a huge expat community and plenty of schools to cater to the needs of all of thos populations.
Good luck,
