I am planning to move to Nice with my family (wife and 2 kids) this year for a duration of at least 1-2 years.
We are planning to look for accommodation somewhere around Antibes / Juan les Pins. For the move, I would like to understand what can we generally expect in terms of amenities in rental homes there.
1. Do houses usually come with refrigerators, microwave ovens, convection ovens, dishwashers and stoves?
2. Will there be space to accommodate washing machines for clothes? Can clothes be hang-dried or do people usually have dryers there?
3. Will wardrobes with shelves be usually present in most houses?
Thanks in advance for your response!
Regards,
Sarin

Hi Sarin
Finding the perfect home in a new city is always difficult. Hopefully, some local expat experts will be able to give you details of their own experiences.
For now, have a look at our guide to accommodation in Nice for an overview of what you can expect.
Hope this helps!

Hi Sarin,
I would say that all of those criteria depend on the house, you will find houses with or without these amenities. In family houses, I think it is at least pretty common to have space for a washing machine (in smaller apartments not necessary). If you choose a furnished house, of course, all the appliances will be included, but not all houses have dryers.
Are you moving there for work? If so, I think you can get relocation services for free. At least I know Skeno relocation does that, and in that case when you explain what you're looking for in a house you can specify wether or not you want a fridge, oven, and so on; then when they look for a house for you they only select houses that match those criteria.
Best,
Marie
