We are relocating to Manchester from South Africa and we are looking for a home to rent that will allow our pets - 2 dogs and 3 cats. Any suggestions or ideas on how to approach this with different landlords is appreciated. Or where we can look for such accommodation.

Hi there,

It is recommended to discuss keeping a pet on the property with the landlord and securing written consent. Most landlords in the UK are open to negotiation when signing the lease agreement.

Accommodation in the UK provides more information on the best place to start looking for housing, and also offers some tips on how to navigate the UK's rental market.

Best of luck with the move!
