Can foreigners attend public schools in China?

Do you know local/ public elementary school around Yangpu or Hongkou which can accept foreigner student? pls provide school name & contact details.

Hi Chanette,

Expat children rarely attend public schools in China because of the language barrier.

You should check out the International Schools in Shanghai page and try to contact schools directly to see if they have spots available. Its worth a try although most schools do operate waiting lists.
