Hamad International Airport - Is this job offer in Doha genuine ?

in Pakistan in few cities not much famous though are doing recruitment for Hamad international airport Doha Qatar is being carried out.On first stage they collect documents and charge some fees around 50 dollars to process it.On later stage after around two months of collecting papers they call from a qatar number to confirm to some persons that you have been selected you need to submit around 35o usd in pakistani account and send documents and medical certificate for visa.
this involves calling to most of the persons who submit papers for selection

i want to get advise from people living in doha that is this recruitment is fraud or genuine one on so massive scale

It is unfortunately likely to be a scam. A similar thing happened in Shamshabad, India where a man cheated hundreds of unemployed people out of money by promising them jobs at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. He asked for money for application fees etc. and wasn't heard from again. Scams involving Qatar Airways have been used before in different forms and I suspect this is no different. To be entirely sure, contact your local Qatar Airways office as they are linked to the airport. If you find evidence that it is a scam, contact the police. Hope this helps

Hi Chinomaximum,

As anonymous stated above it sounds like this is a scam. Alarm bells should ring whenever an employer expects you to pay for anything upfront.

Also, it is somewhat unusual for legitimate employer to contact you using SMS. Usually, employers contact prospective employees in writing in order to keep everything formal and above board.

Even if the numbers given could be verified, it would not guarantee the job offer was genuine.

You'll find the scammers are finding more and more sphisticated methods to catch unsuspecting job seekers. Some of them will have professional looking websites and might even register a company, to make things look legitimate.

However, no legitimate employer should ask a candidate to make payments before the job has been secured.

My Cousin (Chakwal, Pakistan) also received same message with same Qatar Number to receive final message after two months. They have informed that he will have to pay minimum charges for air travels etc. Thank God! he has not yet paid. Helo there i am from nepal and same thing happen here.qatar airways has demanded 200 candidate janitors and a person fron india banglore took interview. He select candidate and took origional pp and $75 per head through local agency named by pasific h r solution. He promise us to issue cisa ob aug28 but now the loal agency is saying that rhe visa will issue after 25th of sep onwards. But listening this agence it seems a fake. Can anybody help me saying whats happening?
