I am a british citizen planning to take up a job in dubai and i have heard that even though there is no income tax applicable in dubai but any money you transfer to UK will be subject to UK income tax laws, is it true?
i need to know if anyone has any expereinece in this regard.

Yes you will x You will also be liable as a British citizen to Interitance Tax liabiliy on world wide assets on the value of your estate.In the event of requiring to retire or need long term care it is only fair that if you have lived a tax free lifestyle you continue to contribute to the country that will pick you up when things go wrong in the end. x
