Good day
I am moving to Oslo next week from the UK, I have recently received my Irish Citizenship making me an EU citizen again
I was moving and then registering as a job seeker.
My company has offered me (UK) to continue to work while living in Norway.
This brings up many questions:
- Do you need to tell HMRC you are leaving using P85 form, do you have to do this right away?
- You have to regiser with the police before 90 days, can you register as self funded if you have a Job in the UK or is this only for students?
- If you complete the P85 form and get a NT tax code in the UK how is tax paid in Norway if you are self funded?
It almost feels easier to not have a job and go down the job seeker role or as self employed.
