i am in nigeria and am inviting a friend to nigeria..but the nigeria embassy is far away from where my friend live..does she need to mail her document to the embassy for interview or must she go to the embassy for the interview .

Also how many weeks does the embassy gives before the interview date

Hi Andrew,

Your friend will need to start the visa process for Nigeria using the embassy's online portal - https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/index.htm

She will then be called for an interview. If there is no Nigerian embassy in the country, then she will be required to another embassy which deals with Nigerian visas. 

The amount of time the visa takes to process depends on the type of visa you apply for.

Hi Andrew, the Country where your friend resides is also important. Yes, the duration of the visa process depends on type of visa you apply for. Since its your friend coming on a visit, you will require a visitor/tourist visa and should be obtained within 2 weeks.
