Hi

I was hoping someone could help me out... I am a South African planning to travel to Portugal in June and would like to know what the visa requirements are and whether the process of applying for a visa is a long one?

How exciting that you are travelling to Portugal! As a South African you are required to apply for a Shengen visa to travel there. The process shouldn't take too long but remember that there are a number of documents that you will be required to submit so it is best to have them organised in advance.
