Me and my family ( husband and two girls, age 13 and 8 ) are moving from Norway to Cyprus next year, and we are trying to find the best schools there.
Is there anyone who has good experiences with any of the many private schools in Cyprus?
It`s really difficult to choose just by looking at different schools web site.
Lot of thanks to anyone who will respond to this question.
Best regard

Try The Junior School for 8 year old and The Senior School for older daughter.
British Curriculum, excellent staff and results and unversity entrance worldwide.

I am applying for teaching positions at private schools in Cyprus, hoping to make the move for September. My husband is currently working in construction, but we aware this is practically a non starter in Cyprus. He is highly skilled in all aspects of plastering, tiling, groundwork, carpentry, but willing to learn new skills. Where is the best place for us to look for jobs? Any help would be gratefully received as we are absolutely certain that the move to a cyprus is the best for the family lifestyle we create. Thank you

Hi Birte, I hope your move went well!
I'm sure you're all sorted and settled now, but wanted to send my experience of schools in Cyprus. My daughter moved over to Paphos last year and, together, we looked at a number of private schools.
It is true that you get a clearer view after visiting rather than looking at their websites. Most were great, and seemed to offer everything we were looking for and go beyond the curriculum. We settled on Aspire in Peyia in the end - it just felt 'right'. My grandaughter loves school (always a surprise!) and I have nothing but good things to say.
Best,

If you are moving to Nicosia, the best secondary school is the English School, for British based education, and the American International School, for American based education. The English School cost 7000 euro a year and the american international 15000 euro a year. In Limassol there is the foley's school, a school with traditional and conservative values. Costs 9000 euro in Nicosia. The bets primary is the junior school in Nicosia.
