Hi
I'm moving to Lagos with my 8yr old daughter next year and want to continue the work that I do here in the UK as an arts educator in Nigeria.
I've worked in arts education for over 10 years working across London and South-East England delivering and managing innovative creative arts projects in schools across all year groups as well as lectured on Theatre degree programmes.
I want to set up a theatre in education company but would like to know the best approaches to schools?
I've tried cold-calling but that hasn't been productive at all and the British Council hasn't been helpful yet too.
I'd just like to be able to speak with heads of English, History and Geography and/or School Principals about teaching practices in Nigeria and explore possibilities of how to continue my arts practice over there.
For me this is more than just work but my lifelong learning as I am working towards finding my PhD research.
So any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks x
