Hi, my name is Sumit Tiwari. I am moving to Bahrain in the 3rd week of December 15 with my wife. The company is offering me a salary of 950 BD. I am an Indian with no kids. My wife is a fresher company secretary from India and has no work experience. We believe in simple living. I wanted to know whether: 1) the salary good or not? Should i negotiate more on the package as the package has not been rolled out yet? 2) What will be rent for a One bedroom? 3) How much will I be able to save? 4) Would my wife be able to get a job there? If she starts as a fresher how much she can earn? Thank you

Hi sumit,
1) if you have work experience less than or equal to 3 years its a good salary as many companies offer similar pay to asians. If you have more work experience try negotiating more.
2) Cost of one bedroom fully furnished apartment in good locality will be 300 bd including electricity and water charges,. People of your pay choose 300 bd 1 bhk flat.
3) Food and other expenses at max 200 bd.(It will be much less depending on where you chose to eat
rest you can save.
4) Bharain has a good service industry a lot of luxury hotels and etc.I hope your wife can find a job easily, she should be lgood at english.
