Can I take my cat from Dubai to Riyadh when we move?

Hi My husband has been offered a position in Riyadh and if he takes it we will move there from Dubai. Does anyone have any experience of moving their cat with them from UAE to KSA please? Also are the any restrictions on pets in the Western compounds? Any advice will be much appreciated!
