Hi there, Steve

While there is some growing resentment towards expats in Cyprus, that doesn't necessarily rule it out. Have you sent out your resume to potential employers in Cyprus yet? This may be the best way to get a feel for the opportunities, with the exception of actually visiting Cyprus.

In the meantime, I can recommend that you look at our guide to Working in Cyprus, which will help you get a feel for the current jobs climate.

Thanks
Luke

Actually there are some VERY VERY good jobs in Cyprus (Even if you do not speak Greek). You can work in the Forex and Binary options industry. These jobs are paying very high salaries. Take a look here for more: https://ilovemondayscy.com

Thinking about making the move too, single US/EU Citizen. I worked in law enforcement in the US, now a private investigator and also have a small pet care business. I’m thinking to start a pet care business in Cyprus. Catering to British expats, and others. Anyone think this is a good idea?

As I suppose, moving to another country is such a complex deal. I'd recommend to rent a house or a villa for 1-2 months and then make a decision whether you want to stay.

I prefer Southern Cyprus due to its climate and gorgeous views. Protaras, Ayia Napa, Paphos, Coral Bay, Aphrodite Hills are good as a location
