Moving to Malta, where to start?

Exciting news! I'm envious as Malta is on my ever-growing list of places to visit.

I wouldn't be worried about schools.  In Malta English is spoken throughout and due to the huge influx of international students over the last few years state schools (esp: Sliema, St Julians, Pembroke area) carry out all lessons etc in English. Maltese is then taught in special classes as a foreign language.

Property wise: Sliema area tends to be more expensive, the South is usually least expensive.

Cost of living: I'd say  more or less at par with the British one bar council taxes, hse taxes etc.. free health care, free schools (as long as they are state schools)...

I'm afraid I won't be able to give you any advice, since I'm in the same situation as you are.

Me and my wife, with three children, we also intend to move to Malta, so I started browsing for jobs there.

Did jou find any interesting websites concerning where to find job, schools, residence permit, and so on?
