I am a newly divorce 42 year old female wanting to make a fresh start in Lahore Pakistan. I am not planning to move to Pakistan for love nor a marriage. It has always been my plan to travel the world and live somewhere outside of the USA, so what better time than now.

I am trying to figure out the best options to take in an international move. I have minimal material wealth and am a freelancer that can work from anywhere. I only need to know what measures I need to make to make my move a lot smoother. Can anyone offer some tips, suggestions or comments that may help me?

Hi there

When are you planning to move to Pakistan? This can be a difficult process, and you should be sure to do your research before reaching a final decision.

Safety in Pakistan is usually a big concern for expats, and if you are planning to work as a freelancer you will want to take the cost of living into account as well. Have a look at our guide to Moving to Pakistan for an overview of what you can expect from life in the country.

Hope this helps!
