How can I find an apartment compound for a couple in Jeddah near Aya Mall?

Hello. I am an Indian expat working in Dubai and soon I will be taking up an assignment in Jeddah. My office location would be near to Aya Mall. Can you please suggest decent ( not very expensive), 1 or 2 BHK apartment (compound) for a couple ( no kids)? What is the current annual rent for such accommodation in Jeddah?

Hi there, some of the best expat compounds in Jeddah include Arabian Homes, Al Basateen Village, Elite Compounds and Divona Compound. For more info on this you can read Accommodation in Jeddah. I'd also advise checking the location of these compounds on Google Maps.

Is your employer or sponsor able to cover rental costs or help with your accommodation search? This would be greatly beneficial. According to the Cost of Living in Saudi Arabia, a three-bedroom apartment outside of city centre typically costs around SAR 2,000 (based on Riyadh in January 2020). Have you looked into typical lease agreements in Saudi Arabia?
