Hey, good people. So, I'm a (current, for the next month or so) trainer working with Ukrainian soldiers with a NATO military, but I'm going on terminal leave and separating this month. Anyway, because we're absolute masters at timing me and my Ukrainian wife are in the process of moving back to Ukraine (getting a residence and work permits etc for me). We're in our mid thirties if it's relevant.

Anyway, I'll need a job when I get there, but navigating google or similar to find recruitment agencies or vacancies is an absolute hell, what with the results being cluttered with the obvious: job opening or recruitment for Ukrainians who've fled the war into Europe.
My Ukrainian is weak but improving, so I'd primarily look for jobs with international companies or similar, and I know from word of mouth that a lot of these are struggling to find people these days. Again, not surprising.

So, can anyone tell me the best way for a big bumbling foreigner to find a steady income in one of Ukraine's bigger cities, preferably Odessa or Mykolaiv but at this point, anywhere. Recruitment agencies that cater to the aforementioned big bumbling lads who have University degrees,  speak weak Ukrainian, but a couple of European languages in addition to English?

And, yes, of course we know Ukraine isn't exactly the least dangerous country in the world at this point. Like I said, I've been training Ukrainian soldiers for a few years now, and we've both travelled extensively in Ukraine in both 2023 and 24. We wouldn't go back before the war ends if we had any other choice, but we don't so we will.
